Jazzographics

A concert for the trio (piano, bass, drums) and the Spanish artist Fernando Gimeno Perez. The first part is represented by Alex Rostotsky's original music - very quiet, poetic, sometimes web-delicate. Transformations of Russian classical music (Mussorgsky, Glinka, Shostakovich, Rahmaninov, Scriabin) is in the second part.
During the whole concert the artist develops images set by musicians with his lines and colours. Sometimes they start an insoluble argument, but the conflict is always sure to win a round of applause. The art action is shown on a big screen.
